Final Submission of Thesis
Once the student is notified by CIC that they can submit their final thesis for graduation, the student must submit to CIC the following:
- Complete and submit your thesis with the 3 abstracts as a word document:
- Summary of research
- Abridged abstract
- Full abstract
NOTE: Your supervisor will complete the Statement of Completion and the RAO will provide a recommendation for admission to the degree
- Submit a digital copy (pdf) of the thesis to the Library. The Library will provide you with an email confirmation of the submission. Send this to the CIC Senior Manager, along with a digital copy of the thesis.
- The thesis must include a signed Certificate of Original Authorship and use the UTS template for the cover page.
This checklist is useful to ensure that you have completed all the submission requirements.
Reimbursement of thesis costs
If you are a research scholarship holder and you have spent money on thesis editing and/or printing costs, you may be eligible for reimbursement.
Reimbursement information is contained in the Conditions of Award (CoA) for your scholarship.
Please discuss with your supervisor first!
If your CoA contains a Thesis Allowance section, and this is agreed with your supervisor, you can apply for reimbursement within 12 months of your thesis submission date. To apply for reimbursement, please fill out the Scholarship Allowance Claim Form and attach original tax invoices as evidence of your expenditure.
